She’s Leaving Home (FIN)

She’s Leaving Home is a Beatles Tribute band, rearranging, funkifying and playing a handful of the over 200 songs that The Beatles released on their records during the years 1962-70.

The repertoire sounds fresh and new thanks to the female lead vocalist and new, keyboard-driven arrangements of the songs. Oh, did I mention there are no guitars?

Myyri Ruokolahti (vocals) is supported by Riddo Ridberg (keyboards), Anton Elmvik (bass) and Oliver Tschernij (drums and keyboards).

The band has performed at these festivals: International Beatleweek in England (2019, 2022, 2023), Niteroi Beatle Week in Brazil (2019), Vestivity of Beatles Music in Russia (2020), Helsinki Beatles Weekend in Finland (2022), Tampere Beatles Happening in Finland (2023), Abbey Road on the River in Indiana, USA (2023), Beatles on the Beach in Florida, USA (2024).

Aside from their usual repertoire, which includes a diverse selection of Beatles songs, the band has also performed the entire Sgt. Pepper's album at IBW 2023.

The band is situated in Finland. At the end of 2022, Free as a Bird spent 15 weeks on the Swedish Yle Vega Top list ‘Vegatoppen’.
