Julia Andersson (FIN)

Julia Andersson (Pargas) explores the possibilities of the piano through a blend of intuitive improvisation and emotionally charged compositions. Her music moves freely between genres, seamlessly merging influences from classical music, jazz, ambient, and neoclassical styles into an organic and expressive sound. For Pargas Beatles Fest, she has prepared a special program featuring instrumental Beatles songs arranged for solo piano.

Julia made her international breakthrough with her debut EP Within, Without (2020), which paved the way for collaborations with the Canadian label Moderna Records. Since then, she has performed in Finland, Denmark, Germany, and Portugal, creating a strong connection with audiences through her atmospheric concerts. Her debut album Dröm(2023) marks a significant step in her artistic development. Meditative, reflective, and deeply moving, it features some of her most expressive works to date and has helped her reach an ever-growing audience.

In March, she released the single Quietude as part of the German label Leiter’s Piano Day Compilation. Julia’s music has been streamed nearly 10 million times on Spotify.
